There are "bosses" but I literally forgot there names, There's the girl with the cross and the Ferra/Torr ripoff's if that counts. Most of the encounters are done in wide open environments meaning if you get spotted you can literally run circles until you find out what to do next. The claustrophobic environment of the asylum lead to little escape options that added to the scare factor as well as having memorable boss battles like Walker and Dr Trager. 70% of the game IS NOT SCARY This is what the first outlast did perfectly. There are many points in the main story that make no sense and worst of all. It makes me wonder why the hell the school flashbacks were even there. The school segments are some of the creepiest and most well done segments I though so what connects the flashback to the main plot, Nothing. Without going into too much detail, the main character has flashbacks to his childhood which is supposedly connected to the main plot. activity and natural processes within a given area (see lit.2). The game's story makes absolutely no sense. spaces with a temporary or permanent public character are thus produced (See lit. The audio is the scariest part of the game, the music is eerie and the the sound design does help with the atmosphere of the game. The Graphics and voice acting is on point. Everyone entitled to there own opinion, yea, and i'm entitled to disagree. It shocks me that people consider this a genuinely good game.
